Leinster riders take the top spots in the penultimate round of the SJI Autumn Grand Prix at Jag last Sunday. Junior Kilkenny rider Eoin Brennan took the honours  when he partnered Eskola M to a clear round in 35.81. Owned by Tim Brennan, the 13-year-old gelding is by Singapore and out of  Aranca.

Cian O’ Connor accounted for the next two placings in the line-up. O’ Connor took the runner-up place when he delivered a clear with Taj Mahal in a time of 38.16. He then took third place with his own Checkter, when he delivered another foot perfect round in a time of  40.38.                

Edward Doyle added points to his leaderboard tally with Quick Bill when he was last of the double clears in a time of 42.62 for fourth place. This was an important result for Doyle as finishing in fourth place with Quick Bill, he added six points to his tally, which keeps him well in contention to claim the overall title in Cavan in December.
