11 May Leinster pony riders put in a great performance at the first RDS qualifier in the Meadows
n the 128cm division a total of 51 combinations and taking the win was Mullingar’s Ted Fagan and Kiltormer Ruby to a clear in 36.95. Ted also took sixth place with Dooneens Electric, when delivered another clear in 39.28. Fourth and fifth place was also filled by Leinster riders as Alanna Keeling and Hollycreek Oran Splendour delivered a clear in 37.92, ahead of Lucy McCarthy and the Silver Legend who clocked 39.01.In seventh place was Robbie Sheehan and He’s a Touch of Magic, clear in 39.36
.In the 138cm division, last year’s champions Ruben Foley took the win in the 138cm division, when he delivered a clear with Mayfly Green Peter in a time of 45.89. Claiming the runner-up place was was Annie Boland and Mayfly Black Pennell, clear in 46.22, ahead of Lauren Adams and Riot Del Pegulil who was clear in 47.50 James Derwin and Ruby Brown were fastest of the four faulters in a time of 53.21 for fifth place
.Victory in the 148cm division also went to Leinster as James Derwin partnered Rincoola Babog to a clear in 34.78 . Slotting into fourth place was James Brennan and MHS Glow, clear in 40.07
In the 148cm 6/7 year-olds divisions, Leinster riders filled the top three places. Taking the win was Aine Shortall and the seven-year-old Bungi, when fastest of the eight triple clears in a time of 35.34. Anna White took the runner-up spot with Tankardstown Dreamer (7 YO), in 36.37, ahead of Ciara O’Connor and Glean Princess (7yo) in 37.15.*results of the judged classes not available at this time*
