Leinster riders featured in the second leg of the TRM Showjumpers Club at Broadmeadows.

Taking the runner-up spot behind Galway Young Rider Gary Dooley (CSF Olympic Jewel (HSI) was Niamh O’ Connor Barry and her own Drumiller Vegas. Dooley set the winning time of 37.03, while Niamh came home with nothing to add in 39.20. This is the second good result for the County Meath rider as she took sixth place last week in the opening round in Jag.

Kilkenny rider Ruairí Aylward also kept all the poles in place with Clonagoose Sky Bouncer in a time of 41.15 for third.

Winner of the opening round, English rider Annabel Shields accounted for fourth place with Lapstan when she was last of the double clears in the four-way jump-off in a time of 42.91.

Wicklow rider Brendan Murphy also featured in the line-up, claiming fifth place with Hugh Fitzpatrick’s Erne Riverrun, when he had one time fault in the first round (82.93).

Completing the line-up was Sven Hadley and Topspin when he was the fastest of the four faulters in the first round in a time of 67.43.
