Double Bill of the Mervue Equine Leinster Summer Tour and GAIN Alltech Grand Prix this weekend.This weekend will see a double bill of the Mervue Equine Summer Tour and of the GAIN Alltech National Grand Prix’s.Rounds. Taking place north and south of the country, with Ravensdale in county Louth and Wexford Equestrian will play host to these popular tours. In Wexford Equestrian, the Mervue Equine Leinster Summer Tour 1.10m (inc YR and sponsored by Paddy Connors) and the Mervue 1.20m (inc YR sponsored by Tom Hore Vet), will take place on Saturday. Also taking place on Saturday is the GAIN Alltech Grand Prix and this is sponsored by Kehoe Farming. It will be a full packed schedule with rounds of the young horse tour, for four, five, six and seven/eight year olds also on the schedule. On Sunday, the Meurve 1.35m will take centre stage and is sponsored by John Ormonde Sand. Also on the schedule is the The Horseware ladies league Sponsored by Celtic Equine. There is also a full schedule of classes in height catogories over the course of the weekend.In Ravensdale on Saturday, GM Wall Tracking will sponsored the Mervue Equine Leinster Summer Tour (1.35m). International course designer Tom Holden will set the challenge for competitors and it is expected to attract some of the leading combinations. On Sunday, competitors in the 1.10m and 1.20m Mervue Equine Leinster Tour will be out in force. Also on Sunday, the County Louth venue will host a round of the GAIN Alltech Grand Prix and will this is sponsored by Greenvale Horse Transport G.
