15 Jul Gold for Carlow athlete Jason Foley at European Showjumping Championships

Jason Foley from Co Carlow today won a Gold Individual Medal for Showjumping at the European Championships in Fontainbleau. He was a member of the Showjumping Team that won Bronze on Friday. Jason has four rounds clear to gain this medal.
Jason rode Irish Sporthorse, Castlefield Vegas, owner by Martin Egan and produced by Showjumper, Ger O’Neill.
Kate Derwin from Athlone, on AHG Whiterock Cruise was a fence away today from claming Bronze Individual. She ended up in 4 th place, Jack Ryan from Kilkenny, also made it into the final and came 23 rd.
